Stephens College is gearing up for an Alumni Weekend like never before! With a rich array of activities spanning over two days, from April 12th to April 13th, 2024, alumni are in for a treat as they reconnect with their alma mater, relive cherished memories, and create new ones. Let's dive into the exciting lineup of events:
Friday, April 12th:
The festivities kick off at 9:00 AM with various Campus Connection Experiences. From immersive tours led by enthusiastic student ambassadors to hands-on workshops like the Physician Assistant Program's simulated patient experience, there's something for everyone to engage in.
As the day progresses, alumni can enjoy a Quad Cookout at the North Residential Quad, followed by the much-anticipated launch party for the Harbinger 2024 Edition at the Hugh Stephens Library, Penthouse. The evening culminates with a nostalgic Karaoke Night on Campus, hosted by the Office of Student Experience, promising to be a delightful blend of tradition and merriment.
Saturday, April 13th:
The excitement continues with a Trivia and Nostalgia Breakfast at the Hugh Stephens Library, Penthouse, followed by the highly anticipated State of the College Address by President Dianne Lynch at the Macklanburg Playhouse. Class and Reunion Photos capture precious moments, while the Reunion Lunch at Lela Raney Wood Hall, Kimball Ballroom, honors milestone classes.
Campus Connection Experiences resume, offering alumni the chance to explore the Stephens College Stables or embark on another guided tour of the campus. The day crescendos with the 80th Annual Fashion Show, "The Collections," showcasing the talent and creativity of Stephens College's fashion students at the Windsor Auditorium.
As the evening approaches, alumni can enjoy dinner in Columbia with friends before attending the Conservatory for the Performing Arts Senior Showcase at the Macklanburg Playhouse, celebrating the graduating class of BFA Performance majors.
